- The test charges are effective from 1st
January 2004.
- Written instructions or an appropriate purchase order
are required before commencement of testing.
- The test charges are for samples delivered to our
laboratory in Watford and do not include for costs incurred for obtaining or
transporting test samples. Rates for collection are dependent upon the number
of samples and geographical location. There is no collection charge for
locations within 50 miles radius of our Watford laboratory providing there is
in excess of 20 samples to be tested in the consignment.
- Prices are for the performance of the relevant test or
test(s) per specimen or set of specimens as indicated and provision of the test
results(s) in accordance with the relevant specification.
- The rates shown include for the provision of one copy
of test results in accordance with the relevant Standard or Technical Procedure
sent to one address. The rates do not include provision for collation and
tabulations of test results on summary sheets or in digital format (i.e. AGS
format). There is no provision for any photographic requirements in the rates
quoted.
- Samples are customarily disposed of three months after
the issue of the results or report unless otherwise instructed. In this case a
charge may be made for storage. All recorded data from test results and
analysis will be archived and stored for 6 years from the date of reporting.
- Discounts may be negotiated for regular clients and
for major orders.
- Surcharges may be applied for samples of unusual
composition or where special preparation and testing techniques are required.
These will be confirmed prior to commencing work.
- VAT at the standard rate will be added to any rates
quoted.
- All invoices shall be paid within 30 days of receipt
and the Company reserves the right to charge interest at the rate of 2% above
the minimum lending rate, the time being in force of Barclays Bank Limited on
all overdue accounts. Discounted rates quoted will NOT be applicable if these
payment terms are not adhered to.
