(usually a 50mm length from a U100 is sufficient for one specimen)
Remoulded:
- Approximately 200g of <2mm material per specimen.

Note:
A 'rapid' peak-only test on free-draining material would be unlikely to require any extra days charged in addition to this 1 day rate. However, peak-and-residual tests, or tests on cohesive materials, would probably require a total of 1 day per consolidation stage and one day per shearing stage for each specimen. Highly impermeable clays could take longer.

Note:
This rate is only included to aid those who require 4 day rates for filling in tenders and quotations. In all cases we would charge the 1 day rate plus extra days. This comes to the same as the 4 day rate for a 4 day test, or is cheaper than the 4 day rate for quicker tests.
